Ruth Bezawit Belay

Art and history teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Boys' School
  • Since 2017
  • English
For nine years I have been the art teacher at Addis Ababa Boys' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Ruth

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Ruth: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
