I coached badminton at Good Shepherd Youth Club from 2016 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Russell
If you played for me, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
What gifts mean to Russell: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
