Russell G. Shelton
Youth badminton coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Bakersfield Sports Club
- Since 2000
- English
I've coached badminton at Bakersfield Sports Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 8 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Russell
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Russell: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
