Runa Taslima Barua

21 years teaching statistics in Comilla

🇧🇩 Comilla, Chattogram, Bangladesh
Orchid Secondary School
2000 to 2024
English, Bengali

I taught statistics at Orchid Secondary School in Comilla from 2000 to 2024. Most days I taught Year 10, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Runa

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
