Ruma Shefali Sheikh
Drums player and teacher in Bengaluru
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Bengaluru Highland Music School
- 1988 to 2018
- English, French
I play drums and tabla. I started in 1988 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Ruma
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
