Ruma Sharmila Mukherjee
Saxophone player and teacher in Coimbatore
- 🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India
- Coimbatore Maple Ridge Orchestra
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I play saxophone and gospel. I started in 2017 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
