Ruma Shahana Akter
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Parkside Pottery
- 🇮🇳 Saket, Delhi, India
- Little Parkside Pottery
- Since 1990
- English, Bengali
I work mostly in printmaking, sometimes street art. My first show was in 1990 at Little Parkside Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ruma
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
