Ruma Salma Alam
Drums player and teacher in New Delhi
- 🇮🇳 New Delhi, Delhi, India
- 2001 to 2014
- English, Bengali
I play drums and sitar. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ruma
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
