For 36 years I have been the English literature teacher at Kozhikode Public School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, my door is open at lunch. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
