I taught economics at Atlas Middle School in Manchester from 1987 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 9, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Ruma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
