Savar Public School is my second home. I teach geography there since 1982, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I've had 2,290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ruma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ruma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me geography in 1992 at Savar Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
