Ruma Nargis Dutta
Carpentry for ten years in Bengaluru
- 🇮🇳 Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
- Bengaluru Repairs
- 2005 to 2015
- English
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 2005 in Bengaluru and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ruma
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
