Ruma Mitu Siddique
27 years teaching design and technology in Jessore
- 🇧🇩 Jessore, Khulna, Bangladesh
- 1980 to 1994
- English, Bengali
I taught design and technology and drama at Andes Boys' School, Jessore. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ruma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ruma: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
