I teach environmental science at Dhaka Girls' School in Dhaka since 2017. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 340 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Ruma: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
