Ruma Bithi Majumder
24 years teaching physical education in Gazipur
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Gazipur Primary School
- 2002 to 2012
- English, Bengali
For ten years I was the physical education teacher at Gazipur Primary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I fix old bicycles. Inside it, I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ruma
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
