Rukhsar Hira Qureshi
Coached chess for 17 years in Lahore
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Lahore Sports Club
- 2003 to 2020
- English
For 17 years I ran the chess program at Lahore Sports Club in Lahore. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Rukhsar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Rukhsar: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
