18 years teaching social studies in Joliet
- 🇺🇸 Joliet, Illinois, United States
- Joliet Secondary School
- 2016 to 2025
- English, Mandarin
Joliet Secondary School was my second home. I taught social studies there from 2016 to 2025, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Rui
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
