Youth chess coach and mentor

- 1990 to 2015

I coached chess at Orchid Sports Club from 1990 to 2015. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I'm still learning every day.

you coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Bristol.
