Ruby Sullivan
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Baton Rouge, Louisiana, United States
- Baton Rouge Trades Guild
- Since 2008
- English
I've worked in thatching since 2008. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 940 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
What gifts mean to Ruby: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
