I taught English literature at Southampton Academy in Southampton from 2010 to 2023. Most days I taught first-year students, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Ruby
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me English literature in 2024 at Southampton Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
