I've coached swimming at Manukau Swimming Club since 1978. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
What gifts mean to Ruby: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
