I teach religious studies at Bamboo Secondary School in Joliet since 1979. Most days I teach Grade 4, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I'm always reading two books at once. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ruby
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
