Rubina Taslima Barua
Taught history at St. Mary's Academy
- 🇧🇩 Jessore, Khulna, Bangladesh
- St. Mary's Academy
- 1992 to 2000
- English
For eight years I was the history teacher at St. Mary's Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Rubina
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Rubina: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you probably don't remember me, I sat by the window in 2013. I remember you. Greetings from Jerusalem.

you taught me history in 2023 at St. Mary's Academy. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
