Rubina Mousumi Sultana
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Old Dhaka Works
- Since 2000
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2000. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,350 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Rubina
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

You fixed our roof in 2004 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Polokwane.
