Rubina Joya Sarker
Agriculture and English literature teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Public School
- 1995 to 2003
- English, Bengali
For eight years I was the agriculture teacher at Dhaka Public School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Rubina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
