I taught home economics at Harmony Grammar School in Leicester from 2006 to 2016. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Rubina: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
