Rubina Ayesha Orakzai

Tabla player and teacher in Gujranwala

🇵🇰 Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan
Gujranwala Music School
1991 to 2013
English, Urdu

I play tabla and bass. I started in 1991 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I watch every football match going. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Rubina

I wrote my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
