I teach organic chemistry at Oaxaca de Juárez College since 1988, and supervised 37 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Rubén
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Rubén: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
