Ruan T. Williams

Sitar player and teacher in Richards Bay

  • 🇿🇦 Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
  • Richards Bay Quartet
  • 1983 to 1994
  • English, Afrikaans, French
I've played sitar from 1983 to 1994, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach. I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
