I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I've spent my career as a night-shift cleaner and now give some of that back.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Ruan
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
