Ruan N. Chetty
Retired religious studies teacher from Hillcrest Secondary School
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Hillcrest Secondary School
- 1990 to 2012
- English, Afrikaans
Hillcrest Secondary School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1990 to 2012, mostly first-year students.
Over the years I had 640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ruan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ruan: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
