Ruan G. Van der Merwe
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa
- Little Pretoria Workshop
- Since 1978
- English, Afrikaans
I'm a welding specialist. If you live around Pretoria, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ruan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
