Ruairi P. Donovan
22 years teaching environmental science in Kilkenny
- 🇮🇪 Kilkenny, Leinster, Ireland
- Valley View Girls' School
- 2004 to 2016
- English
I taught environmental science at Valley View Girls' School in Kilkenny from 2004 to 2016. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ruairi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
