I taught chemistry and social studies at Heritage Secondary School, Lapu-Lapu. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I walk the dog by the river.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Rowena: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
