Rowena M. Salazar

Civil engineering lecturer, 2009 to 2019

  • 🇵🇭 Iloilo City, Iloilo, Philippines
  • Iloilo City University
  • 2009 to 2019
  • English, Filipino, French
My subject is civil engineering, and for ten years I got to share it with undergraduates at Iloilo City University. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Rowena

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.

What gifts mean to Rowena: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
