Rowan Scott

Choir director and singer

I play oud and bass. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

More about Rowan

I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Rowan: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.

I still have the recording from that night at Coventry Ensemble. Truly.
