- 🇺🇸 Winston-Salem, North Carolina, United States
- Winston-Salem Review
- Since 1994
- English, Spanish
I'm a writer in Winston-Salem. Sports writing is my first love and translation is my second.
I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
What gifts mean to Rowan: I'd put a gift toward a research trip.
