Rowan F. Franklin

Chess and fitness coach, San Antonio

  • 🇺🇸 San Antonio, Texas, United States
  • Baobab Sports Club
  • 2003 to 2013
  • English
I coached chess at Baobab Sports Club from 2003 to 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
