I coached athletics at London Sakura Football Club from 2003 to 2024. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
More about Rowan
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Rowan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
