Rowan B. Franklin
Woodcarving artist in Auckland
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- Phoenix Pottery
- Since 2006
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 2006 at Phoenix Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Rowan
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Rowan: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
