Rowan B. Caldwell
Teacher at Hillcrest Middle School, loves art
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States

For 45 years I have been the art teacher at Hillcrest Middle School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the art club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Rowan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Rowan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2000 at Hillcrest Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
