I've coached softball at Kano Community Club since 1981. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Rotimi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you coached me in 2014. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Oakland.
