Roshan Bijay Newar
Singing player and teacher in Kathmandu
- 🇳🇵 Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal
- Kathmandu Ensemble
- Since 1991
- English
I play singing and sitar. I started in 1991 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Roshan
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Roshan: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
