Rose Wanjiru Odhiambo

Self-taught woodcarving artist

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Since 2008
  • English, Swahili, French
I'm a woodcarving artist based in Kinondoni. I've been making things since 2008 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the people on my bus route. I bake for the whole street at New Year. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
