Rose Mwanaisha Otieno
Youth softball coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2007 to 2016
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For nine years I ran the softball program at Kasarani Greenfield Swimming Club in Kasarani. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
