Rose Apio Nabwire

Teacher at Jinja Secondary School, loves art

  • 🇺🇬 Jinja, Eastern Region, Uganda
  • Jinja Secondary School
  • Since 2010
  • English, Swahili
For 16 years I have been the art teacher at Jinja Secondary School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 430 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Rose

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
