Rose Anyango Mutua
Mentor in engineering and first-generation students
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Orchid Youth Network
- Since 2008
- English, Swahili
For 18 years I've mentored people in engineering and first-generation students. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Rose
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
