I've worked in blacksmithing from 1994 to 2018. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,200 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Rosângela: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
