Rosa T. Maldonado
Coached wrestling for 15 years in León
- 🇲🇽 León, Guanajuato, Mexico
- León Lincoln Youth Club
- 1984 to 1999
- Spanish
For 15 years I ran the wrestling program at León Lincoln Youth Club in León. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
What gifts mean to Rosa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
