Rosa P. Urbina
Athletics coach, Madrid Sports Club
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Sports Club
- 1985 to 2000
- Spanish
For 15 years I ran the athletics program at Madrid Sports Club in Madrid. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Rosa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Rosa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
